With nearly 25 years in photography and visual production, Steve’s background spans journalistic, natural history, and commercial work across multiple countries and continents. His imagery has been published in international outlets including National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, The Times, GEO, and The Washington Post, and he has produced video and aerial content for platforms such as BBC, Netflix, and Apple TV+.
After photographing more than 12,000 spaces, Steve founded ARCA to bring a more considered, design-led approach to property marketing. Combining photography, film, and digital strategy to help listings stand out and perform in competitive markets.
Today, ARCA operates with a dedicated team of retouchers, video editors, and 3D artists, allowing the studio to scale intelligently while maintaining creative consistency, quality control, and reliable delivery across every project.
I’m am an award-winning Vancouver-based real estate and commercial photographer specializing in visual storytelling for properties, brands, and built environments. My approach blends refined commercial photography with a photojournalistic eye—capturing spaces in a way that feels natural, authentic, and engaging to buyers and audiences alike. I’ve collaborated with brands and organizations including Destination Canada, Nikon, and National Geographic, with work featured in publications such as the National Post, Canadian Geographic, and The Globe and Mail. Alongside my commercial work, I maintain a fine-art practice rooted in nature and wildlife, with prints held by collectors worldwide.

I’m a video editor specializing in architectural and design-led storytelling, with a focus on clarity, pacing, and visual restraint. With a background in digital media and post-production, I take a disciplined, technically precise approach. Prioritizing natural motion, subtle transitions, and balanced colour grading so light, materials, and spatial flow drive the narrative. Working closely with photographers, directors, and editors in a collaborative studio environment, I create calm, cinematic films for high-end property, architectural, and brand-driven projects. I believe the strongest edits are often the quietest ones.
I’m Huy Tran, a senior 3D artist with decades of experience creating accurate, design-led visualizations for architecture and real estate. My work focuses on realism, proportion, and material accuracy. Using 3D to clearly communicate how a space will feel after a renovation or simply with furniture in an empty space. Working closely with photographers, editors, and designers, I create clean, reliable visuals that support marketing, planning, and decision-making.
I’m an architectural photo editor with a calm, precise approach to visual storytelling. With a background in visual design and post-production, I focus on translating built spaces into images that feel natural, balanced, and intentional. My work centres on accurate colour, clean geometry, and subtle refinement. Shaping atmosphere and correcting perspective without ever overpowering the architecture. Working within a collaborative creative studio, I edit residential and commercial imagery for designers, developers, and real estate professionals. My work is rarely noticed on its own, but it’s always felt.
I’m Michelle Schramm, the Operations Manager at ARCA Creative. I oversee day-to-day operations, workflows, and client coordination, ensuring projects move smoothly from briefing through to delivery. Having worked alongside my partner (Steve Woods) for many years, I bring a deep understanding of both the creative process and the practical realities of running a busy studio. Helping keep projects organised, timelines on track, and the wheels turning behind the scenes. Alongside ARCA, I’m also a practising physiotherapist and clinic director, a background that has shaped my structured, people-focused approach to leadership, communication, and problem-solving. I balance my professional roles with family life alongside my partner and our two children.
